Weaving Tradition Into the Future
EriWeave was founded with a simple but powerful vision: to bring one of the world’s most ethical and sustainable fabrics into the spotlight while supporting the communities that have preserved this craft for generations.
Rooted in the rich textile traditions of Northeast India, EriWeave celebrates Eri silk — a fabric known for its sustainability, softness, and timeless appeal. Every piece we create carries the heritage of skilled artisans and the promise of responsible fashion.
At EriWeave, we believe fashion should not only look beautiful but also respect nature, culture, and people.

The Inspiration
A Vision from the Northeast
The inspiration behind EriWeave comes from Iaishah Rymbai, who grew up surrounded by the rich weaving traditions of Meghalaya and Northeast India.
From a young age, she saw how deeply Eri silk was woven into the culture of the region. Yet despite its unique qualities and ethical production process, this remarkable textile remained largely unknown beyond local communities.
Determined to change that, she set out to build a brand that could bring Eri silk to modern markets while empowering the artisans who create it.
What began as a passion to preserve a heritage craft soon evolved into a mission to build a sustainable, globally relevant textile brand.
The Fabric with a Conscience
The Beauty of Eri Silk
Eri silk is often called “Ahimsa Silk” because it is produced without harming the silkworm, making it one of the most ethical forms of silk available.
Naturally breathable, durable, and biodegradable, Eri silk represents a perfect balance between luxury and sustainability.
At EriWeave, we work to showcase the versatility of this extraordinary fabric through thoughtfully designed products that combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics.

Crafted by Artisans
Preserving Heritage, Creating Livelihoods
Every EriWeave product is the result of meticulous craftsmanship by skilled artisans from Northeast India.
By working closely with weaving communities, we aim to preserve traditional techniques while creating meaningful economic opportunities for artisans and their families.
Each piece is handwoven with patience, precision, and pride, making every creation truly unique.
A Moment of Recognition
EriWeave gained national recognition after being featured on Shark Tank India, where the brand’s vision of sustainable textiles and artisan empowerment resonated with audiences across the country.
The experience reinforced our mission to take Eri silk from regional heritage to a fabric appreciated across India and around the world.

Our Vision
EriWeave aims to build a future where sustainable textiles are not the exception but the norm.
By combining ethical production, traditional craftsmanship, and thoughtful design, we hope to bring Eri silk to global audiences while uplifting the communities that make it possible.
When you choose EriWeave, you are supporting heritage, sustainability, and the hands that weave every story.
